Yes, we recommend booking. Anaalā is a small rooftop and most nights are full. We're open nightly from 6pm; pick your time when you book online, it takes under a minute.
Tables are yours for two hours from your booking time, which is comfortable for the full set menu. If you'd like a longer evening, book a later time.
There are four ways to dine at Anaalā: the indoor dining room, the open-air terrace, a private sala or the poolside upper deck. Tell us your preference when you book and we'll do our best; it depends on availability and, for outdoor tables, the weather.
Cancellations and changes are free up to 12 hours before your reservation. Inside 12 hours, cancellations, no-shows and reductions of two or more guests are charged at €59 per person to the card on file. Full details are in our Booking Policy, or call us on +356 9911 0166.
When there's a table, yes, but we can't promise one without a booking, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays.
Anaalā serves one region of Thailand each evening: North (Lanna), Northeast (Isan), Central (Bangkok) or South (Coast). The region rotates nightly, so select your preferred date on the booking page to see which menu is being served that night. Come back for the other three and collect a stamp for each.
The menu region is shown when you select your date online, so you'll know which region is being served before you confirm your booking.
The regional set menu is €59 per guest and includes amuse-bouche, salad, soup, three main dishes and dessert, served to share. Premium fish and meat from the daily grill and a wine pairing are extra, and a 10% service charge is added to the bill.
Set menu only, served Thai family-style to the centre of the table. Dishes from the daily grill can be added.
A full vegetarian set menu is available every night. Gluten-free, vegan and allergy needs can be catered for with at least 12 hours' notice; add them to your booking or email dine@anaalavalletta.com. Peanuts, shellfish, fish sauce and soy appear across Thai cooking, so please tell us.
It varies by region. The Central and North menus are the gentlest; Northeast and the South carry real heat. Dishes are cooked as they are in Thailand rather than toned down, but the kitchen can adjust with notice.
Yes, an optional wine pairing is available with every regional menu at an additional charge.
Anaalā is on the rooftop of Iniala Solis on St Ursula Street, Valletta. Enter through the Solis entrance and take the lift to the top floor.
The indoor dining room is glass-fronted with the same view, so dinner goes ahead whatever the weather. Terrace tables move inside if conditions turn.
Parking in Valletta is limited, but you can find spaces in designated white parking boxes. Alternatively, the MCP car park by the City Gate is a convenient option, with a 10 to 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride to St Ursula Street.
Yes. Sharing menus suit families well. We ask that families with children aged 12 and under book at 18:00 or 18:30, which works better for younger guests. Hotel guests, let us know and we'll be flexible. Tell us ages when booking so we can seat you comfortably.
Yes. Salas suit intimate dinners; the terrace and poolside upper deck take larger celebrations and corporate events; exclusive use of the rooftop is available. Email dine@anaalavalletta.com with your date and numbers.
